First Day

Well, we survived the first day. Not too much to tell, since there really wasn't much to see. We went through 5 states and traveled 770 miles. Spending the night in Sioux City, Iowa. We were looking for a motel with a lounge and restaurant. First place we stopped had the lounge/restuarant, but no lodging. Second place had lodging, but the restaurant closed 15 minutes before we checked in. Oh well, we got by.

Time for a quick shower and then bed. Plan to start early again in the morning. Meeting for breakfast at 6am.
